Biography:

UCD Ladies Hockey Club is the student run hockey club of University College Dublin.

We have 6 teams, so we cater for people looking for a fun past-time right up to current Irish senior internationals playing in divisions 1,3,6,7,11,14 and various Leinster Cups,as well as having our 1XI playing in the Irish Hockey League and Cup. On top of all this, as we are an University club we also participate in Colours (Trinity vs. UCD) and Intervarsities (Irish universities tournament).

For people who are just looking for a social way to keep fit, we also run 'Social hockey'. There is also a buzzing social committee who organise socials in conjunction with the men's hockey club. These nights include Fresher Socials, Themed Party nights, Colours ball, Varsities ball and many more nights throughout the season.

Last season , our 1sts and 3rds won their respective Leinster league and cup doubles, with the 4ths also winning their Leinster League and gaining promotion. The 1sts also won the prestigious Irish Senior Cup, as a result UCD will be representing Ireland in Europe this spring.
