Hockey Ireland has launched a new initiative today ‘Shoot for the Stars’. This programme aims to engage schools to try hockey and get behind the men’s team at the games. Clubs can also engage, and host Olympics themed fun days.

In the lead up to Paris 2024, Hockey Ireland have designed a participation pack for your school or club to get everyone involved in hockey, whether you’re a seasoned club or a school just starting out, hockey in Ireland offers opportunities for people of all ages, genders, and skill levels to join in the excitement. This pack is ideal for a PE session, club session or a break from the classroom. The pack will provide basics and introductions to hockey and fun-filled games for all involved. The pack is easy to follow and includes a downloadable and printable certificate.
