Interpro Player Development Programme 2022-23

Changes to the Development Programmes across Hockey Ireland were implemented in 2021-2
- Provinces were working towards revised format over the previous six years
- Agreed by both the HI High Performance Committee and the Inter-Pro Working Group
- Competitions changed from one week-end competition to individual matches through the season
- Matches played in multiple venues around the country => Growing the Sport
Training Panels in Leinster/Leinster South include a wider number of players than in previous years
- Provinces can change their panels during the season and play a different team in each game
- On an Inter-Pro squad most players would typically be in their 2nd year of eligibility
- On an academy panel most players would typically be in their 1st year of eligibility
