Girls U16 & U18 Interprovincial Weekend

Sunday 6th February is the final round of the Inter-Pro league phase – and lots to play for. Although not involved this weekend Connacht will be cheering on Leinster South against Leinster in the U18 Girls competition as a draw will see Connacht into the finals day whereas Leinster U18s need the win.
All 4 teams in the U16s are battling for positions with Leinster girls leading the table on 8 points – the other 3 teams could catch them with a win. Goal difference is not a factor. There is a bonus point for winning a penalty shootout and determining match result – which could be a factor when it comes to the final table positions and determining who goes into the final 1st vs 2nd and 3rd vs 4th games early in April
The matches will be played on Sunday afternoon Three Rock Hockey Club and a request for volunteers to help with car parking / pitch management has gone out to the clubs.
