New Women's Shield Competitions Confirmed

Following feedback from clubs in 2021, the Women's Committee is delighted to announce the draws for the new Shield Competitions which will start in February.
These competitions will see those teams who were knocked out of their Cup competitions in the first and second rounds, redrawn into the new Shield knock out competition. Games are scheduled to commence on 05th February and will see the finals take place towards the end of April.
Commenting on the new competitions the Women's Chair Catherine Higgins said she was delighted to see these additional competitions introduced this season particularly after what has been a very challenging year for players, clubs and committees and wished all teams the best of luck.
All the competitions are available on the website and the draws for the next round of the Jacqui Potter Cup and LHA Shield (aka Jacqui Potter Shield) will be announced next week.
