Umpiring is a fantastic way to learn more about hockey, to develop your skills and progress through the umpiring grades. Whether you want to get involved at club level, or have aspirations to umpire at the international stage, you can gain help and support from Hockey Ireland, your provincial umpiring association and the Irish Hockey Umpires Association (IHUA). For more information, please visit the pathway page or Hockey Ireland's E-Learning Hub.

The Rules of Hockey are also available HERE

Online Rules Test – As a new or inexperienced umpire, you can start by completing your online rules test. If you require help with how to navigate the e-learning course, click here. This will give you an introduction into the rules of hockey before progressing on to your Fundamentals of Umpiring.
