Message from Trevor Watkins
Thank you to all the clubs who attended the recent Leinster Hockey Roadshows around the province. It was great to meet up with so many representatives and hear about the work being done in your clubs. I would also like to thank clubs for your engagement at these sessions; we have taken away quite a bit of feedback which will be worked through over the coming weeks and months. Below you will find a copy of the presentation given at each meeting and information on the recent Sports Equipment Grant allocations.

In the meantime, I want to remind clubs to
- Start working on your 5 Year Strategic Plans
- Work towards applying for Sports Capital & Equipment Grants, Local Sports Grants*
- Make sure your club is registered with your Local Sports Partnership (LSP)
- Put in place processes to start building your social media profiles
We also need all clubs to nominate people onto the various Leinster Hockey Association Committees and Steering Groups. At the Roadshows, clubs were asked to put forward names and they will be matched with a group. This will also benefit clubs by ensuring there is a good flow of information into and out of both the LHA and the club network.
*We are hoping to organise workshops covering the topics of Grant Applications and Fundraising in the near future. Information, once available, will be distributed to clubs.
