Junior (adult) Interpro & U21 Panel Nominations

Club are requested to submit nominations for the Leinster Men's & Ladies Junior Inter-Provincial Squad trials and the Under 21 Men's and Ladies Panels.

Junior Inter-Pros
The junior inter-pros are being held in Munster on 18th & 19th May. Players will typically travel down on the Friday afternoon.
- Players must be over 18 on 1st July 2018
- Players registered for Leinster clubs and regularly playing Division 2 or below are eligible for selection on Junior Inter-Pro Teams
- Players who have played in more than 2 IHL/EYHL matches in the current season or more than 3 IHL/ EYHL Level 2 matches in the current season are not eligible
- Players who have played in an international fixture at Senior or U21 level are not eligible
- Players owing money to the LHA are not eligible
- Players who have played more than 8 games in division 1 are not eligible
Nominations are now being accepted from Clubs for players and clubs are asked to complete the form by Friday 22nd February.
Players may only participate in the trials if they have been nominated by their club and they are required to complete a personal registration form by Sunday 24th February

Under 21 Development
This development group is aimed at players born 1999 – 2001.
There is no U21 Inter-Provincial tournament in the Hockey Ireland calendar for this age group, although national panels with a full programme are in place. The LHA hope that a development programme targeted at players who are not currently on national panels will help to keep them in contention for selection in 2019-20 season when Ireland will be competing in a European Championship
Challenge matches have been arranged with Ulster U21 Development for the end of May (25th & 26th) and we would hope to arrange similar with Munster who also have a development squad for this age group.
Players on the National U21 or U18 squads remain under the national programme and are not included in these development squads until released by Ireland.
